This Land of Oz was set in New Orleans, taking much inspiration from Mardi Gras culture. Flying monkeys became skeleton monkeys, their monkey suits complete with custom painted black light skeletons, and origami-folded monkey masks made by hand out of cardstock.
Addaperle’s costume was also a regurgitation of all things Mardi Gras, with the strong color theme of purple, green, and yellow. To complete the look and create the perfect vest, a men’s dress vest was completely transformed and altered to fit our beautifully curvaceous Addaperle!

The Underwater Mermaid Ballet finale of Fancy Nancy required aquatic themed costumes with a made-from-home feel as well as a big Broadway touch. We have two competing mermaids, a willow tree, an athletic seahorse and a racing wave!
